Drone Pilot – Agriculture & Industrial Operations
A full-time, field-based role with extensive travel requirements.


Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Drone Pilot to execute precision operations in agricultural and industrial environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in field operations, preferably including ONGC or similar industrial project sites, and a strong understanding of agri-drone missions like spraying and mapping. You will be responsible for flight planning, safety checks, client coordination, and on-ground execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct drone operations for agriculture spraying, crop health monitoring, and farm surveys.
  • Perform industrial inspections including oil & gas pipelines, power infrastructure, and flare stack assessments.
  • Execute missions in compliance with DGCA safety protocols and SOPs.
  • Coordinate closely with the client for mission planning, field execution, and reporting.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of drone equipment.
  • Maintain accurate logs of flight hours, mission data, and observations.
  • Report operational issues, damages, or deviations promptly to the project manager.
  • Handle pre-flight and post-flight checks with precision.
  • Assist in project coordination, manpower deployment, and team supervision when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of drone piloting experience in agri and industrial sectors.
  • Prior experience working in ONGC or similar industrial environments is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with agri spraying drones (e.g., DJI Agras) and inspection drones (e.g., DJI Matrice series).
  • Valid DGCA UIN/UAS license preferred.
  • Strong client communication and field documentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of airspace regulations, drone safety, and emergency protocols.
  • Ability to manage field teams and handle project coordination effectively.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Technically sound in drone hardware and troubleshooting.
  • Adaptive, responsible, and able to work in remote and challenging environments.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites across India as required.
